About Us

Thank you for visiting our website.

Triglyph Masonry Ltd was established in 2015 by Colin McGugan, undertaking work locally in Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and elsewhere in the south of England,

Originally from Scotland, Colin learned traditional

stone masonry techniques during a four-year apprenticeship with the National Trust for

Scotland at Culzean Castle. Following this,

he was awarded a two-year Fellowship with

Historic Scotland where he was able to

refine his skills in masonry and mortar and

to develop his knowledge and

understanding of all forms of traditional

building.

Prior to establishing Triglyph, Colin gained a

wealth of experience working for specialist

building conservation contractors for over 20 years.

He is privileged to have worked on a broad range of buildings, from private homes to country houses, and historic churches to ancient monuments during this time and since.  Examples include the Houses of Parliament, Hampton Court Palace, Stowe Landscape Gardens and a variety of other National Trust properties.

Triglyph continues to grow and now boasts a small team of specialist craftsmen offering the highest quality of workmanship.
